What Do These Ultrasound Reports Specify About The Cause For Irregular Periods?

Dear Sir It has been 4 years of my marriage. I had regular periods before marriage but after marriage my periods got irregular. I have shown to many gynaecologists and tried different medicines. But the problem still persists. Now I am consulting a doctor and she has recommended for 5 continuous ultrasounds. On 1st march the ovaries were normal. In the second report it has been reported that both ovaries appear bulky in size. Rt ovary-6.4cc and lt ovary 7.4cc. In the third report, endometrial thickness in mm is 5.2mm and rt ovary follicles is 9X9mm and LT ovary follocles is MCF and POD fluid is nil. In the fourth report the endometrial thickness is 6.1mm and RT ovary follicles is 11x9 mm and LT ovary follicles is MSF.after three days there was an ultrasound and the report says same above. I am highly disappointed as doctor says there is nothing to worry about. Kindly advise. am i able to conceive.

Hello,

Yes, your report is almost normal, it can be PCOD depends on no of follicles in one ovary. Rest everything looks fine. It's recommended for you to get a TSH and serum prolactin and consult back with reports.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
