What Do These Urinalysis Test Result Indicate?

Got this result from my urinalysis (urinalysis done at the last day of my menstrual period): color - yellow, transparency - clear, reaction - 6.0, specific gravity - 1.015, albumin, sugar, ketones, leukocytes, nitrite, urbilinogen, bilirubin are all negative, blood - trace. RBC is 4-6/hpf, WBC is 0-2/hpf & epithelial cells is rare. Can u help me out interpret this result? Thanks!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
The following conclusions can be inferred based on the urine analysis report you have posted:
1. Colour and transparency appears to be normal.
2. Reaction, which is 6.0 (acidic) is normal.
3. Specific gravity of 1.015 is within reference range.
4. There is no presence of albumin, sugar, ketone bodies, leukocytes, nitrite, urobilinogen and bilirubin.
5. WBCs and Epithelial cells are less and it indicates there is no infection.
6. Presence of traces of blood and few RBCs is the only positive thing to be noted. It could be due to bleeding in the urinary tract due to presence of kidney stones or could be due to mixing of menstrual blood during urine sample collection.
Hence, it would be better for you to repeat the urine microscopy once again after a week. Otherwise, the other parameters are suggestive it to be normal.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
