What Do Tingling Sensation And Swelling In The Fingers Indicate?

I broke my right wrist in three spot. two weeks after the accident, the splint/cast was removed, my wrist was reset and put into a fiberglass cast. I have had the fiberglass cast for 5 days now. my fingers and hand are still swollen and I have tingling in the fingers of the hand with the broken wrist. should I be concerned about this tingling? I am suppose to fly tomorrow on a 4-1/2 hour flight. is it safe for me to fly?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You can take Cefadroxil twice daily for five days take Omeprazole twice a day for five days, take Serratiopeptidase and Aceclofenac combination twice a day for five days. Apply hot water bag on affected site, apply Diclofenac spray at pain site 2-3 times in a day. Do X-ray of affect site, if not resolved then consult your doctor.
