What Do Tremors On The Right Hand Indicate?

I have many of the symptoms of ms.....muscle spasticity, optical neuritis, a tremor in my right hand and bladder issues. I just had a cervical spine mri and mrai that came back negative. My dr does not feel I need a head MRI because I had one 2 years ago....without contrast. Do you think I need one? What else could it be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have read your question and here is my advice.

Sorry to hear of your disease. In fact do see the lesions of MS, we need to do MRI with contrast, without contrast its always very difficult to pick that. If you have these symptoms, I personally would have done for an MRI of the brain with contrast, though the symptoms does not necessarily mean MS, still we always like to get an MRI, in such patient, if no other cause could be find for the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
