Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an hiv test done in a uk nhs clinic. It was negative. It has been 2 or 3 years since my last sexual encounter. I am concerned because i have subhhoric dermatitus which developed a couple of years ago and recently i seem to have got some tiny warts on the palm of my hand. I have seen online that these can be signs of a weakened immune system. Can i trust my result or should i get retested. I have managed to work myself up into a bit of a panic. Thanks
Many of the palm warts co-relate with particular work pattern as gardening like stuff or else, not necessarily related with immune disturbances every time.
However, clinical examination is a must to comment further in details and precisely.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
