General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, the episode followed an episode of.food poisoning and can be attributed to salts and electrolytes imbalance but some other complications like neuropathy following toxins or degenerative neuron diseases GBS should be ruled out. A baseline workup with blood gases and electrolytes and neurological examination is needed. Meanwhile try to take oral rehydration salts and water.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
