Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m not sure what is happening. I have some white bumps that are pussing a clear liquid just above my anus in the crack below my back. it is hard and warm around the area and seems to have spread. not sure if I was bitten by a bug or what could have caused this. I have not done anything different I can think of in diet or activity. I have put bacitracin on it as well as some fungal cream. it is becoming more painful and has been getting worse over the last 3 days. any suggestions??
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It looks like anal herpes, however there are other microorganisms that cause anal symptoms. You need to visit ER & get STD tests done. You will get physically examined & will have to give blood sample for CBC, some other investigations may also be required depending upon your reports. If you are sexually active abstain from sex for a couple of days. Get your partner also tested. Antiviral medications will help you get better. Take care.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K.
