Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I am writing to you because I have noticed small white bumps on the rim and inside of my anus. After doing some research, I was hoping that the small bumps were hemorrhoids or skin tags and not HPV or any other serious disease. Everyone I have had intercourse with has been clean and protected so I was thinking it might be from irritation. (as I recall my anus is easily irritated) it only itches when it comes in contact with something dry like toilet paper and other than that is completely painless. These bumps started a couple weeks ago where at the same time I was constipated. The constipation is over but the bumps still remain.

What Do White Bumps Inside The Anus Indicate?
Hello, The bumps may be due to anal mucosa edema and form folds may appear as bumps. It may be due to infection of virus or small weakened wall of hemorrhoidal vein or polyps etc. Until examination is done manually it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your general surgeon he will examine manually then treat you accordingly. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
