What Do White Pasty Substance On The Scalp Suggest?

I have white pasty substance on my scalp and when i wash my hair I seem to have to scrape it off with my finger nails only to have it return by the next time I wash it. I am also loosing my hair at an alarming rate. This has been going on for 2 years now.

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns..this might be due to fungal infection .do one thing ..apply ketoconazole shampoo thrice a week ...before application you jus massage your head for 5 minutes..and massage after application.tankss.i hope i answered your qn.
