What Do White Spots In The Brain On An MRI Report Suggest?

I just had an MRI that showed tiny white spots on both sides of my brain. My doctor said I may have been having little strokes for a long time. My nephew who is a neurologist said I might have subcortical white matter disease or subcortical white matter disease . What can you tell me about his diagnosis?

Hi,

Usually, they are microinfarcts aka stroke but if you could send me the MRI I can tell you a detailed report.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
