What Do White Spots On The Tonsils Indicate?
Hi, I have two small white dots on my tonsils accompanied by a soar throat. I had mononucleosis earlier this year but all my symptoms left until now. I was wondering if white spots could occur if I have a cold, or do the white spots mean I have strep or mono again?

There could be two possibility.
One streptococcus like throat infection or it can be tonsilith tonsil stone by calcium deposition.
Physical examination needed and than if needed CBC, monospot test for infectious mononucleosis and throat swab culture can be done
