What Do Yellow Spots On The Knee Of A Child Indicate?

Hello. My six year old daugher has a cluster of yellow spots on her knee, they have been there for about a month, they don t seem to be going, but do seem to be moving closer togerther and increasing. they haven t been bothering her but now hey are itchy. They don t seem to fit any common childhood rashes and was wondering what next steps would likely be? Thank you

in children these yellow itchy spots are common and usually due to a yeast infection by an agent called malassezia, it is not harmful nor contagious, and it usually subsides very fast after applying an antifungal cream
