OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
According to your ultrasound report, there is no intrauterine pregnancy or extra uterine ectopic pregnancy.
So, they are suggesting correlation with beta HCG levels.
Means beta chorionic gonadotropin levels.
Beta HCG is the hormone, which rises in pregnancy and used to diagnose the possibility of pregnancy.
And may be they have advised followup scan.
Because ultrasound may not detect early pregnancy sometimes.
And wrong dates may be one reason.
So, by doing repeat scan one conclusion can be drawn regarding the pregnancy.
Take care.
