General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello sir and welcome.

Penicillin is an antibiotic which has a very high rate of hypersensitivity, so I would strongly recommend against the use of the medication on your own. Please speak to your doctor and request for a biopsy of the region and also blood investigations to rule out the infection. Also discuss with your doctor how a burn would be the correct diagnosis, based on your own personal history.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
