What Do You Suggest For A Bump With Puss On My Right Breast?

I have a bump that has a head like a pimple right at the edge of my Stella on my right breast. I squeezed it thinking it was just a pimple and it seemed to be full of puss. When I squeezed it there was an off white puss that smelled awful that came out. Should I be worried about this?

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
You might have developed breast abscess.
Abscess are deep bacterial infections.
In simple terms bacteria infect our body and destroys tissue.
This destroyed tissue forms pus and a collection of pus anywhere in body is called as abscess.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
Abscess must be drained and pus should be subjected to tests to find out which bacteria is causing it and to which antibiotic the bacteria is sensitive.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
