What Do You Suggest For A Red Tender Sore?

I have had pain the past day through my clit, it is red and really tender sore and have just pulled the hood back and it has flakey white powder/crust there. what could this be? I would like to get down to the bottom of my problem because it is so sore. I am currently on medication to get rid of an sti and the nurse said I may get thrush. Could this be the start of thrush?

yes, it may be a fungal infection. it could also be an abscess- a bacterial infection where it gets inflamed and may require antibiotics. I would suggest calling the nurse of your doctor and have it examined.
