What Do You Suggest For A Tingling Feeling On The Right Side Of My Lower Lip?

Today during lunch i started to get a tingling feeling on the RH side of my lower lip. It feels like the inside is swollen but only in a line. I thought it might be a vein or something. But it hasnt gone away yet. I am not allergic to anything. Please help.

Hi,

Tingling sensation on lower lip right side may suggest herpes labialis infection. Some times, herpes infection may present only tingling sensation initially and the may or may not followed by minute vesicular lesions. However, you consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Antiviral drug like acyclovir may be started. And may be given for two weeks. Acyclovir cream may be applied. Vitamin B complex may be taken for few weeks. I feel you may be alright.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
