What Do You Suggest For Buttock Pain After L4fusion?

Hello, I have severe buttock pain in the right middle... when I stand for a while.. brings tears, everytime I step my right foot down ..pain Stooping over to pick something up flares it up ... live with a pain of three all the time but goes up to a ten thru out the day. have had L4 fusion over a year ago and am now doing the diagnostic injections from pain mgt doctor. in the sacariliac jt and the trochanter?? and then last Monday just a numbing injection in the facet .. no help.. seems to be getting worse as time goes on.. any ideas? I am a 66 year old female.

After L4 fusion L5S1 disc prolapse is common and because of compression of S1 nerve you can have pain in buttocks. If you want confirmation i would likeyou to suggest MRI of Back. Till that time i would suggest you to take pregabalin and methyl cobalamine after consultation with your family doctor.
