What Do You Suggest For Chest Congestion With Cough?

I have had chest congestion and have been coughing quite a bit trying to get it out. taking sudafed, allegra and guifenssen cough medicine. It is much better but I have pain in my lower back rib area where kidneys are when I cough now. Just a constant ache there. Is this anything to be real concerned about as I think it came from the coughing. My front rib area doesn t seem to hurt anymore as it also did earlier.

Hello
Thanks for your query.
Dont be worried. I think it is originating from cough spasm. As the cough will be subsided the pain will also decrease by itself in time. I can't see anything serious in it. Just relax. Have a great day.
Thank you
Regards
