What Do You Suggest For Hairfall With Oily Scalp When On Novaphane?
hello im 17 yr old teenager but i had few hairfall from the front in last few months, the scalp has become oily and irritating sometimes, hairline is receding and there are small hair at the front and hair is disappearing from the temples. There is also a hair separation at the side of the head and at the middle there is little gap increasing slowly.my father also has baldness. The doctor told me not to worry and prescribed novaphane but im still worried help me as i cant sit and see my hair getting worse.
Seems that you have Androgenetic Alopecia along with Seborrheic dermatitis. If I was your treating doctor I would have asked you to use an antidandruff lotion (2% ketoconazole shampoo) thrice weekly for 2-3 weeks.
Regarding Androgenetic Alopecia you need to use Minoxidil 5% twice daily along with intake of Finasteride and a biotin supplement(Novophane is a biotin supplement) once daily.
Treatment is long term and the goal would be to stop further progress of receding hair line and if any new hair that grows/recovers that will be complementary
take care regards
