What Do You Suggest For Hearing Issues After Putting In Ear Plugs At The Gun Range?

One day I put in ear plugs at the gun range and had them in for maybe 15 minutes. Upon taking them out I noticed that one of my ears felt like it was plugged and my hearing was also affected. Now 2.5 years later and 3 different ENT doctors and several visits to to all of them the problem is not solved. When one of them was cleaning some sloughing out of that ear, for roughly 3 seconds I had normal hearing, then it went back to being plugged. One thinks I need hearing aids, but since my hearing was restored just briefly I believe there is still hope. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My thoughts are pluggged eustaition tube plugged, but I am not a doctor.

Hi.
Thanks for a good history. Have you undergone the test called ''' audiometry''. This will guide for the cause of feeling of ''plugged''. Of course the common causes are wax being pushed in , but you say you have shown to 3 ENT Doctors, who have definitely told you about the wax and the reason for a hearing aid. Go for audiometry and put the report here for us to help you more.
