What Do You Suggest For High Fever,severe Headaches And Hiccups When On Pedialite?
High Fever with headaches and severe hiccups.
Hi I am a 47 year old hispanic male in excellent health, 177 lbs, 5', 10, with no history to speak, though my father did have 2 heart attacks and a pacemaker put in. He passed away several years ago. I have no insurance and I hate to keep going to the ER for medical problems. For the past week I have been having a high fever, severe headaches, and endless hiccups day and night. I am so sore from hiccuping, that I can't sleep. My urine has also been very dark, but I believe it is from being dehydrated. I have been taking Pedialite to replenish electrolytes, and over the counter meds for a cold and fever, but my head hurts badly after every hiccup and my eyes feel like their burning hot. Thanks for your time.

I can understand your problem for the fever it can be brought to normal with the antipyretic drug but if the fever does not go away then it is to be investigated, for the hiccup the most common cause is acidotic problem and for that I would advise you the following medicine,
1) Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day
2) Tab Domeperidone three time in day
no need to worry about that is all every thing will be alright, hope this information helps you, have nice day.
