What Do You Suggest For My Knee That Crackles When I Sit?

Hello I m 13 years old and every time I stand up or sit down my knee crackles. My friends say it sounds like Velcro. It happens when I go up and down steps when I sit and stand really anything. There is a slight pain every once in a while. I play lots of sports so that s what I thought it ws from but I m not sure. Should I be concerned?

Hi,
At 13 you are in the growing phase. your bones are still growing and maturing. You may consult an orthopedician and get clinically examined. You might be having flexible ligaments which make the crackles. Any difficulty in movement and pain must be evaluated.
