What Do You Suggest For Small Right Atrial Mass?

I was recently diagnosed with a small right atrial mass. However another cardiologist thought it cold be scar tissue secondary to multiple PIC lines. Upon having a complete cardiac work up there is a visible mass that seems to be attached to a stem evident. What should I do next?

Hi and thank you so much for this query

I am so sorry to hear about this cardiac mass. The most common cause of cardiac masses are myxoma. You would need to follow up with a cardiac surgeon who would evaluate this and look into the possibililty of of excising it for laboratory analysis. Have you had any heard symptoms like difficulties walking, feeling as to pass out?

I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for patronizing our services and please do feel free to ask for follow up clarifications and information if need be. I wish you the best of health.
