What Do You Suggest For Vision Problems In The Left Eye With Numbness On The Left Side Of Her Body?
Hi, My daugher, age 20, yesterday complained that she woke up with a slight vision problem in the left eye, then 3 hours later stated that on one side of her body (left) she had numness in her arm and lip that lasted approximately 5 min. No other problems. What should I do? She has only her pediatric doctor that she sees from time to time. Should we go to the emergency room?

It seems from the history that your daughter is having blurring of vision in left eye associated with numbness.
Since you have told that the blurring of vision is sudden in onset, optic neuritis needs to be ruled out, as it is one of the common causes in young females.
