What Doctor Is Recommended For A Deaf Person With Speech Pattern Issues?

I have a best friend I am try to help...female, age 67, good health, professional women,has a hearing aid, is having trouble using the right words and sometimes making up words...does not seem to have trouble remembering numbers... this happens about 20-35% of the conversation... what kind of DR should she see?

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should consult neurologist (neurophysician) for her.
She is having amnesia (not able to remember).
In old age (after 60 years), amnesia can be due to alziemers disease or parkinsonism or senile atrophy of brain.
So consult neurologist and get done clinical examination and MRI brain to identify the cause.
