I recently received results from my doctor... My ast is 81 My alt is 60 My AIC 9.3 Cholesteral 277 Triglycerides 508 HDL Cholesterol 60 Microalbumin 380.0 MC Randon 279 mg/g of creatinine She wants to put me on insulin but nothing for Cholesteral. I ve been on Metformin, Victoza, Janumet and another med for my diabetes and I can t see to get it under contact. I m 5 3 and weigh 170. I know I can stand to lose weight. But I don t know what to do first. Please help!

Liver enzymes AST and ALT levels are also increased. 3. Glucose levels with 279mg/dl and HbA1c levels with 9.3 is indicating diabetes is under poor control. The report clearly states that there is mild liver dysfunction along with altered lipid levels and deranged glucose homoeostasis. This could be secondary to poor glucose control. Hence, with the medications you are taking, the report says that it is not sufficient to keep your condition under control. You need to follow what your doctor has advised and take strict measures to keep your blood glucose and lipids under control by medications, diet and exercise.
