What Does this semen Analysis Result Mean?

hi im 38 years old and been married for almost 12 years, 4 11 in height and 62kgs, never conceived since married, all my lab result were good according to my OB except that my husband semen analyses latest result shows 13.5m/ml, volume of 2.5 ml, 45% motility, normal cells 40%, dead of 50%. will it be possible for us to have a baby in a natural method?

Hello

Mentioned semen analysis may indicate low sperm count and low motility.

Motility is low.Normally it should be at least 55 %.Your husband's findings suggests 45% motility,so it is low.

Sperm count is also low.Normally it should be at least 20 millions/ml.

Your husband may need clinical correlation and investigations.
He may need routine hemogram,random blood sugar,ultrasound of scrotum,hormone assay etc.

He should avoid wearing tight undergarments and go for exercise regularly.
I suggest to take antioxidants and avoid alcohol,smoking if he take it.
