What Does 170 Levels Of Alkaline Phosphate In Blood Indicate?

My name is Robin........I had a reading of 170 on an alkaline phosphatase. My GYN done the work on me as routine. She says my liver functions are fine..but I m curious as to why the lab flagged this reading along with hemoglobin being 8.9 in which my GYN told me to start taking iron and I have. We know why I m anemic(irregular bleeding) which she is addressing that issue with tests next week. Just curious of the above mentioned issue of the 170 reading.

normal value of alkaline phosphate is 44 to 147 iu per liter. it is not clear about your value unit. only problem detected is anemia. can take iron supliment like dexorange cap one daily for onemonth. iwill sugest deworming with albendazole.
