i am 31 yrs old female and am being done with 2 c- sections. i have got my pelvic ultra sound as suggested by my doctor for just a routine check up to see that everything okay with the contraceptive measure i took (T ). ONE line in my report is creating doubts in me that is: A cystic area of myometrial gaping is seen in the anterior uterine wall. is there something wrong that my doctor is not telling me or is there anything to worry about. please tell me.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The findings in your report suggest - there is a cystic / an-echoic areas in the myometrium.
2.This findings are seen in adeno-myosis inflammatory changes in the myometrium.
3.If its not mentioned in the final findings / impression probably its minimal changes.
4.Treatment in this case is hormonal treatment.
5.Depending on the symptoms and findings - antibiotic treatment might be needed.
6.The doctor did not mentioned - probably the findings are not significant. Good luck.
