What Does AFI 12 In Sonography Indicate?
hi ,myself vrushali .....i m 7 month pregnant now and recently two days back we did color Doppler ,which shows my AFI 7 , but when i went to my doctor ,she did sonography to check the AFI -which comes 12 cm yesterday ,pls tell me whom i should trust .............i m worried for my baby ?

You don't worry at all.Both readings are within normal limit.
AFI(Amniotic fluid index)values should be in between 10-20.
AFI measures height of amniotic fluid pockets in four different quadrants of abdomen which keep on changing with the constant changing position of fetus.
Your baby is absolutely fine and both readings are normal.
