What Does ALT Level 42 Suggest?

Is an alt test of 42 bad? I was on prescription medicine that affects the liver and was instructed to go off of it now. Is that enough to bring it down to below 40?
I am 28 years old. I am 5'4", 160 lbs. I do drink once or twice a week as well. I have never really had any health concerns. I recently have changed my diet (joined weight watchers) and have started exercising.

thank you posting query at HCM.

history of drug induced liver injury.
ALT 42 is very mild hepatitis. Nothing to worry.
usually takes 6to8 weeks or more to return to normal if strictly followed advice.
is hep A, B C viral serology Negative??
do a lipid profile test and and an "abdominal ultrasound".

if all above results negative then
advice:
abstinence from "Alcohol and drugs"
- LOW fat diet should be followed
- NO red meat
- vegetables should be ingested daily
- Moreover, less activity should be carried out (no sports).
- use lemon juice (lemonade) once in a day
- walk 30 to 40 minutes everyday.
- or swimming is alternative to walking
- NO sports and NO jogging
-"recheck liver enzymes after 6 to 8 weeks".
