CT scan reads: very subtle focus of pleural thickening in the right upper lobe. 1-2 mm subpleural nodule, right middle lobe. Subtle foci of pleural thickening is also noted in the posterior aspect of the left lower lobe. What does this mean in terms of malignant or benign

Hi pleural thickening generally implies old healed pleural infectious. It may also be seen in some malignant diseases but the presentation is different. Tiny areas of pleural thickening that do not grow is a common finding in many healthy x rays. So donot panic. Hope this helps.
