What Does Eosinophil Count Of 17 From Blood Test Indicate?

My wife is having pharangitis,and some amount of lung infection.That gets less by medicine but it is not getting fully cured .
Her thyroid is TsH is 7.87 for which she is taking medicine.Recently in her Blood report Esnophyil count was 17.Can I be advised it can be due to which reasons

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
She has eosinophilia. There are many causes of high eosinophil count. She may have asthma, allergy, hypersensitivity, parasitic infection etc. You should go for allergy test. Continue treatment for your lung infection and hypothyroidism.
