Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the tests is as follows:
The fasting blood
glucose is 120 mg% and postprandial blood glucose is 108 mg%.
Are you diabetic?
This test result is characteristically seen in diabetics.
Although fasting blood glucose is high however, it is considered near normal in diabetics.
The postprandial blood glucose is higher than fating glucose levels however, a lower postprandial blood glucose is seen in diabetics due to dawn phenomenon.
You need to compare the test results with your past reports and see if there is any improvement, no change or worsening of values.
The
lipid profile shows normal
total cholesterol level, normal
triglyceride level, high
HDL, slightly high LDL and normal VLDL.
You need to take up some life style modifications to control high LDL levels.
These measures include avoiding fatty food items and sugar containing items.
Thanks and take care
