What Does GGT Level Of 77 Indicate?

I am 73 and just had a blood work up for a physical for life insurance. My GGT was 77. Normal for lab is 2-65 I weigh 125 # and I m 5 2 I m in good health - walk 2-3 times a week. I have 1-2 drinks per week. How significant is this. I just had a physical 6 mos. ago - no problems

GGT value of 77 is not at all significant and doesn’t indicates any disease conditions. In liver diseases the values will be above 400. As of now no treatment is required and you can do a repeat test after two weeks for reassurance. Keep in mind that the enzyme status are slightly high in patients who consumes alcohol on a daily basis.
