What Does Gamma GT Findings Suggest And What Is The Recovery Period?

my gamma gt reading in February was 6000, i have been in rehab since, I was told that my reading was the highest in west essex and am lucky to be alive. Was it as serious as they say? and will it have gone back to normal now that i have not drank alcohol for 4 months?

Yes this was very high value of ggt and this is probably caused by alcoholanf it may be sign if serious liver damage. it is hard to say how dangerous it is without some other results such as liver ultrasound and other liver markers. So you should definitely reduce alcohol intake right away.
