My Lft test report :- SGOT-57,SGPT 87, GGTP 142, Alkaline phosphate 229, Bilirubin Total - 0.68, Bilirubin Direct- 0.09, Bilirubin Indirect- 0.59, Protein Total 7,38, A:G Ratio - 1.98 Pls let me know what problem I have , and what should i do to overcome
Increased SGPT and GGT indicates alcoholic liver injury. It is important to know lipid profile and viral markers.Ultrasound of abdomen should also be done. You should take tablet Ursodeoxycholic acid 300 mg twice daily for three months.It will help in regeneration of liver cells. You should avoid red meat and high fat milk products. You should avoid alcohol completely. You should increase your physical activity in the form of exercise.
