Hello, what does it mean if an HIV test results show up as following: HIV 1/2 Ag/Ab Combo Screen.....Reactive HIV 1 p24 Antigen Screen......... Non-Reactive HIV 1 Western Blot.....................Negative HIV Final Interpretation ... No HIV p24 Antigen detected, inconclusive for HIV1/HIV2 Antibodies

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The HIV test result indicates that no p24 antigen is detected in your serum.
p24 antigen is a specific antigen found on HIV virus.
Presence of p24 antigen in serum is suggestive of HIV infection.
However, your serum has tested negative for p24 antigen and hence you do not have HIV infection.
