What Does POD Fluid In Follicular Study Suggest?

follicular study(TVS) : Q: My name Ramya, age 25, day 15 scan result- follicle in right ovary 2.8*2.6cms, follicle in left ovary 2.5*2.7cms, endometrial thickness 7mm, POD fluid +. what is the problem for me. 1year completed on my marriage life. i am not conceived.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the follicular scan is as follows:
There are follicles in bilateral ovaries.
On 15th day of menstrual cycle, formation of a dominant follicle is expected.
The dominant follicle is formed during ovulation.
The dominant follicle ruptures during ovulation and fluid appears in the pouch of Douglas (POD).
Fluid is present in POD and thus it indicates ovulation has occurred.
The endometrial thickness is normal i.e. 7 mm which is normal for day 15 endometrium.

Consult your gynecologist for correlation of the follicular scan findings with clinical findings.
