What Does RBC: 2-3, Pus Cells 0-3 And Yeast 2+ Mean In Fecalysis?

HI MAY I ASK what is the meaning of this fecalysis result of my kid he is six years old, and i found a blood on his stool this was happen for 5 consecutive days .this is the result PHYSICAL: COLOR: YELLOW BROWN.....CONSISTENCY: SOFT, SEMI FORMED NON MUCOID..... OTHERS: BLOOD STREAKED...... MICROSCOPIC PUS CELLS: O-3.... RBC: 2-3...... BACTERIA: ++++...... OTHERS: YEAST2+..... OVA & PARASITES: NO INTESTINAL PARASITES SEEN

Hello

Your kid's finding suggest intestinal infection(colitis).Infection is evident by plenty of bacteria,few pus cells and RBC in stool.
He may need investigations like stool culture and sensitivity.
You may need to take antibiotics depending upon culture and sensitivity report.
Baby should be fed plenty of water and fluids.
