What Does TSH Level Of 9..44 Indicate?

71year old female, little energy, recent blood work revealed TSH, 9.4;T3 free, 2.6; T4, free, 0.37. Total T3 1.29; T4 3.6; T7 (FTI) 0.05. Current doc has ordered compounded thyroid with T4(60mcg), T3(75mcg)--that s all that s listed on bottle. Will this help energy level? Thank you!

Please note that as your TSH level is raised, it means that you are producing below normal thyroid hormones. So your doctor rightly prescribed thyroid hormones.
