What Does WBC Level Refer To On Blood Test?

I just received my blood work results. I am a 50 year old active woman - - - -

BUN 20, CA 8.3 and WBC 3.8 - everything else is normal. I had blood work last Aug and no concerns. Should I now be concerned - what may have caused this difference? Thanks so much - K OK - just knew this was too good to be true. Such a shame!

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Its only on the lower limit of normal.
2. Not to worry. If it is associated with infection, then its worrisome.
3. Improvement in nutrition, particularly protein rich diet along with Vit B12 is necessary.
4. Stay active with moderate exercises and nutritional diet.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
