my chest x-ray has the following findings:
the lung fields are clear. the trachea is in the midline. the heart is not enlarged. the pulmonary vessels are within normal limits. both hemidiaphragms are depressed. the osseus thoracic cage reveals no significant bony abnormality.

conclusion: hyperaeration of both lungs

Radiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Your chest X ray shows that the lungs are hyperinflated (emphysematous). The heart, trachea and lung vessels are normal. The rib cage is also normal. There is no focal disease. The air within the lungs is more than normal and if you have any problems breathing then you must get spirometry done.
