What Does A Blister Above The Eyelashes Indicate?

i had cataract surgery on my right eye on april 19 and just had it on my left one. Everything has been ok with both but I notices a place on my right eylid the other day. I is right above my eyelashes and looks like a little blister but does not hurt. At first I thought it might be a sty but showed it to my daughter today and she said looks like a blood vessel in it.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It can be something called stye which is nothing but a small collection of sebaceous material.

Generally, it will settle by itself.

If the swelling persist, consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
