What Does A Blister On The Lips Indicate?

So for the past few weeks I've had a pimple on my lip line, but it's not like a normal pimple because it's inside the top lip. I'm afraid it can be herpes or something. I know it's not an ulcer it's different. If you can get back to me as soon as possible that would be great!

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

A lump inside the upper lip that does not look like an ulcer seems to b most probably a mucous cyst or Mucocele..

It occurs due to injury to minor salivary gland or obstruction in the duct of the gland..

So my suggestion is to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical examination can be done to rule out what exactly it is..

As of now you can start doing concentrated salt water rinses..

If the lump continue to grow then a surgical removal can be done..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
