What Does A Boil Behind The Ear After Surgery Suggest?
Hello Dr, My daughter who is 7.5 yrs / cochlear implant candidate , her sugery was done 8 months ago, and now she has developed a small boil behind her ear and underneath her stitches ( which feel like some thing hard and firm) not puply ( If pressed hard it is painful). she cannot go throught MRI Scan, because of her innner machine, so with her ct scan, doctor come to a conclution : Implation dermoid or / Haimatoma. please advice ..

I really appreciate your concern, such condition need to be taken seriously along with this infection need to be rule out too, in my opinion better to have a word with ENT surgeon, either if this hematoma or dermoid need to be taken seriously, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
