What Does A Boil On The Testicle Indicate?
My 26 year old son has had some sort of boil on his testicles, he s had it for a month or so, he has no insurance, I took him to a free clinic thursday, she prescribed an antibiotic and a pain reliver and ordered an MRI, he has not has an MRI yet and hes in SEVERE pain, and he is saying he is getting shortness of breath, I m wondering if I should take him to the ER but I am scared of the cost. I m wondering can you get MRSA down there?

The intensity of the pain suggests acute infection with possible various types of organism, the most common is staph or E. coli.
Ice pack application with analgesic gives the best relief.
Consultation with a surgeon is must to diagnose clinically and proceed further to cure it.
