What Does A Brown Raised Mole On The Ankle Indicate?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a papilloma or other benign (non-cancerous) skin lesion.

Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated. In that case, you might require a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
