What Does A Bruised Spot And Indentation On My Left Calf Indicate?

Greetings....I have what appears to be a bruised spot on the outside of my left lower leg...calf level. Also in that bruised area, a significant indentation has appeared. Looking from the front ...it is noticable by others. Do not remember any specific injury although I do regularly exercise. Does not hurt. Any ideas????

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, bruised spot and indentation on calf indicates soft tissue lesion as sebaceous cyst or else with inflammation most likely. Kindly upload a high resolution photo image of the area, so that better insight can be predicted ahead of this information to guide accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
